Pooled fund management

CTC helps state DOTs manage pooled fund projects both as the lead agency and as a partner:

  • Understanding and applying FHWA’s financial procedures when handling pooled fund commitments and obligations.

  • Writing and distributing meeting minutes and other key documents.

  • Handling all meeting planning logistics and technical oversight committee communications.

  • Developing RFPs and coordinating the project contracting process.

  • Tracking and reporting research progress and results within the pooled fund group and to external audiences.

  • Marketing the pooled fund project through an up-to-date Web site, e-mail notices, meeting presentations and articles in trade publications.

CTC has extensive experience both with ongoing, multi-project pooled funds and shorter term, single-project pooled funds. We know that each agency’s approach to pooled fund participation is a little different and requires great attention to detail. We work closely with our clients to understand their internal processes and to respond to their management and communication needs.
